A. - First go to the main stats page and fill out each column. Fill in your "Current Stats" totals from your game profile page. Your "Guild Bonus" stats appear in parenthesis (). Then fill in your "Base Stats" from your level up page. There are two ways to input the items. The easy way is to click one of the links at the top of the column and select an item from the list. For example, click the word "Weapons" to display a list of weapons and when you find the one you want, click the "Select" button at the bottom of the column to input it. The other way is to simply type in the item name and stats in the form and click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the column. After you select an item, you can adjust its crafted or Hell Forged stats by clicking the "Change" button at the bottom of the column. It would be a good idea to fill out the entire stats page with the items you are actually wearing and then change out the items one at a time to see how they will change your stats.

A. - Select the item and then on the main stats page click the "change" button below the item. This will replace the item with a form where you can type in and submit the correct stats.

A. - For the calculator to work there must be a way to store the selections you make. There are a few options for how to do this. One option would be to store your selections in a database on the server but this would require each user to provide an email address and create an account and log in every time they wanted to use the site. Another option would be to use sessions but this would require you to re-enter all your selections every time you used the site. Finally there is the cookie option which stores your selections in little text files on your computer. The server can read these cookies and display the items you selected from the last time you used the site. Many websites, including FallenSword, use cookies to store things like your username and password. Cookies can only store information that you provide and because there is no place to even type in a username or password they are completely safe on this website.

A. - For the Buffs Calculator to work properly you must, at the very least, fill out the "Base Stats" column on the main Stats Page. This is because most of the bonuses you get are calculated from both the skill points and your base stats. Your base stats are displayed on your game "level up" screen. If you will be using Enchant Weapon or Enchanted Armor then you must have the Weapon and Armor column filled out on the main Stats Page as well. Then type in your skill points for each of the buffs and click the Calculate button to see how the buffs will change your stats.

A. - Type in the name of the item in the big box on top (optional). Type in the stats of the item to see how the stats will change with each level of Hell Forge applied. Type in the minimum level of the item so it can calculate the cost. Use the Hell Forge Level dropdown list to select the current Hell Forge level of the item you want to calculate. For example, if your item has not been hellforged, leave this set to 0. If the item has already been forged three times then set it at three.
